Traumatic experiences during childhood, adolescence or adulthood can cause a variety of symptoms disrupting everyday functioning. Depending on different factors (age, type and frequency of traumatic experiences, received support, etc.), these symptoms are more or less severe, leading to specific clinical presentations. Recognizing this clinical presentation is the key to making the right diagnosis and planning treatment.
Professionals specialising in the treatment of trauma-related disorders recommend starting with screening tests to assess the frequency or severity of certain symptoms. If you get high scores or if you are concerned about any of the symptoms mentioned in the test, we encourage you to consult a doctor or therapist experienced in psychotraumatology. Based on a consultation, the therapist may recommend further in-depth assessment towards a trauma-related disorder.
This project allows you to complete online screening tests and obtain an automatic feedback about their results. Questionnaires with your answers can be printed, so that you can show them to the doctor or therapist during the consultation. They will discuss your answers with you and suggest further actions.
