IX International ESTD Congress will be held on October 10th-12th, 2024 in Katowice, Poland. The title of the congress is: From diagnosis to treatment: Recognising complex trauma and dissociation. Therefore, we will focus on the assessment of complex trauma and dissociation, diagnostic dilemmas, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions, as well as new approaches to therapy of complex trauma. Apart from interesting workshops and keynote presentations, we welcome papers and posters from participants who wish to present their research or clinical case descriptions. Panel sessions for emerging researchers and healthcare professionals are also included in the programme.
Congress participants will also have a chance to meet at a social dinner and sign up for tours around Krakow and Katowice, see the unique industrial architecture of “Nikiszowiec” and the Silesian museum. Katowice is also close to the historic site commemorating Holocaust – the Nazi concentration camp in Auschwitz (Oświęcim in Polish). Those who wish to visit this place of genocide and pay homage to its victims will have the opportunity to join a group tour.
The Congress will be organised in a hybrid form, which means that you can participate on site or virtually, via an online platform.
