12-13.04.2024 Congress organized by PTP SPP and FPP

The Polish Society for the Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychoses (local branch of the ISPS) and the Forum for Psychotherapy of Psychoses will jointly organise a congress: “Connections. Attachment and Loneliness in Psychosis” on April 12-13, 2024 in Katowice. It will be preceded by a pre-conference workshop.

The theme of our congress will be the importance of attachment in psychosis. We believe that the connection or lack of it has a key impact on the onset of a psychotic crisis and on the course of the recovery process. The conference program will also cover clinical and social aspects of psychosis, including the use of pharmacotherapy in treatment. In addition, we would like to create a space to share individual and family experiences. In addition to the scheduled speeches, we would like to warmly invite you to present your scientific and clinical work, or to share your experiences about psychosis.

We invite psychotherapists and psychotherapists of all modalities, psychologists and psychiatrists, occupational and environmental therapists, nurses, and people who have experienced psychosis themselves or in the family. We invite everyone who believes that psychological and social influences are of key importance in the process of recovery from psychosis.

Only some keynote presentations will be in English with consecutive translation. The official language of the conference is Polish. More information and registration: terapiapsychoz2024.pl
